Volunteer assisting student in library

New Partnership Opportunity! 🌟

We’re excited to share that S.A.G.E. is partnering with Bucks Learning Cooperative (BLC) this year to bring new learning opportunities to local teens—and we’re looking for senior volunteers like YOU to make it happen!

BLC is a nonprofit learning center serving teens who are receiving a high school education under Pennsylvania's homeschooling authority in Bucks County. Students work at their own pace through a personalized mix of small-group classes, tutoring, and independent projects. It’s all about interest, ability, and student choice—no required courses, no grades, just real learning. Read more about BLC at Bucks Learning Cooperative.

This year, S.A.G.E. volunteers have the opportunity to teach or tutor in areas such as:

  • Writing Skills

  • Mock Trial

  • Essential Science

  • Small Business Math

  • Algebra

  • Fine Arts
…and more, depending on your interests and background!

Classes are small (3–6 students) and flexible in format and duration. Volunteers are supported every step of the way in creating a meaningful experience for both themselves and the students. Most volunteers will spend 1 hour per week in their teaching role and another hour or so to prepare for their weekly class.

If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more, get more information. We’d love to help you explore how your talents can make a difference!
