Cheryl Lastowka who volunteers in Mrs. Heather Brzezinski’s classroom in the Hatboro-Horsham School District participated in the class Holiday Hot Chocolate Bar & book exchange.

Cheryl shared some pictures with us. She brings her yellow lab, Butters, to class with her.  

2025 Greater Philadelphia Social Innovation Awards

Congratulations to our very own founder, Beryl Katz, for being selected as a runner-up for the 2025 Social Innovation Awards. She was named a runner-up for the Education Entrepreneurship category - innovative ideas to develop new ways to advance education in novel and meaningful directions.

Happy Valentine's Day from S.A.G.E.!

Council Rock students spent their Valentine's Day writing special cards for local seniors in assisted living and nursery homes. We hope all seniors enjoyed their Valentine's Day! 

Visit seniors at their senior living homes, whether it be Valentine's Day, or any day of the year!

I guess you could easily say,
They stole our heart and soul away,
Their eyes sparkled like stars so bright,
They made our special day just right.

We brought them litte bags of sweets,
They shared their lives, oh what a treat.
They open more then just a door to us,
They greeted us with such a fuss.

Their hair shone of silver and grey,
Their stories they shared in a special way.
Like a whisper, they shared their time,
Being today, our perfect VALENTINE.

Smiles galore they gave us a hug,
On our heartstrings, they each tugged.
Another blessed day they shared,
These are Seniors who show they really care.

Surrounded by love in their humble home,
Never letting you feel you are alone,
A smile a hug and yes maybe a tear,
Always welcomed to visit here.

Giving their devoted love and time,
Yes indeed, our perfect VALENTINE
